The 17th international SIEF congress will take place at the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland, hosted by the Elphinstone Institute for Ethnology, Folklore, and Ethnomusicology.

The call for papers closed at 23:59 GMT on 17 December 2024. Convenors are now making up the submisssions for their panels.
There has been a slight delay in the marking of papers for some panels, we expect to announce the acceptances on 20 January and begin the Transfer process on 21 January
