1. Letter of the President

Marie Sandberg is looking forward to the 16th SIEF Congress in Brno, next month, the first face-to- face conference after Covid-19. She recalls the uncertainties in today's world, a reference to the title of the conference.
3. Winners Young Scholar Prize 2023

Introduction of the two winners of SIEF’s Young Scholar Prize 2023: Nikola Balaš and Camilo León-Quijano.
4. Working Group on Archives

The SIEF Working Group on Archives announces, in collaboration with Samla, the last webinar in the Spring webinar series. Furthermore, the WG announces the conference “Turning the Wheel: Access to Archives - Tradition and Variation”
5. Working Group on Cultural Heritage and Property

The WG presents its program in Brno and talks about various other (UNESCO) activities they are involved in.
6. Working Group Ethnology of Religion

Report of the conference “Religious Utopia” at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 16-18 March
7. Working Group Ritual Year

The WG Ritual Year has several news items: The 9th edition of The Ritual Year seasonal webinars; celebrating Emily Lyle, founder of The Ritual Year Working Group; the 10th International Conference Synergies in Communication; collaboration with the International Association of Agricultural Museums; extended deadline for Edinburgh Myth/Ritual conference: 1 July 2023!
8. Leonard Norman Primiano Prizes and Awards

The Folk Belief and Religious Folklife Section of the American Folklore Society announces three prizes/awards in honor of the late scholar Leonard Norman Primiano.
9. Wayland D. Hand Prize

The History and Folklore Section of the American Folklore Society awards the Wayland D. Hand Prize for an outstanding book combining historical and folkloristic perspectives.
